The Scottish singer and songwriter Lewis Capaldi, 26, performed at the Pyramid Stage on June 24, 2023, in Glastonbury; however, he struggled to complete his performance as he experienced vocal issues. As the singer battled with his voice, he was supported by none other than the crowd enjoying his performance. The crowd filled in the lyrics on behalf of the singer as he collapsed to sing any further. The audience expressed their deep love for the singer as thousands of voices supported him to complete the performance.

The singer reported being diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome last year and was recently on a three-week break to ensure his mental wellness. He also appeared in a Netflix film that highlighted his struggle with mental health concerns.

The singer thanked the crowd for making him feel comfortable and also apologised for not being able to sing properly due to vocal issues. He further mentioned that he plans to take the rest of the year to recover from his mental health issues.
